Philips has announced that the 65OLED+959 Ambilight TV will be on show at IFA 2024. This will be the model’s German debut; it was revealed earlier this year and will launch in the region this September. As its name suggests, the TV will only be offered in one size, 65-inch.
The OLED+959 uses Ambilight Plus, throwing colored light onto the wall behind your TV, matched to the content, for a more immersive experience. This latest technology uses small lenses for a higher resolution and a larger light halo. The Philips P5 AI Dual Engine processor enhances image quality with Dolby Vision and HDR10+ support. Gaming features include MEMC motion smoothing, ALLM, 144Hz VRR and Game Bar. On top of this, there are powerful 102W 5.1.2 channel speakers from Bowers & Wilkins.
Other features include AirPlay 2 wireless screencasting and Matter compatibility, allowing it to integrate with many smart home ecosystems. The model has a floor stand, though it can also be mounted to the wall. The Philips 65OLED+959 Ambilight TV will be on show at IFA 2024 in Berlin from September 6th, and is expected to launch in Europe in the same month with an RRP of €4,299.
