Geekom has partnered with Tecno to launch the Megamini G1 gaming mini PC. It was first showcased at MWC 2024, and one of the unique aspects of the system was that it features a water cooler, which aims to make the CPU and the GPU offer stable performance even under load.
Speaking of which, the gaming mini PC will be available with two CPU options: Intel Core i7 13620H and Core i9 13900H. Both options are paired with The Nvidia RTX 4060 laptop GPU, making the system capable of handling most games with maxed-out visual settings at 1080p.
Getting back to the water cooling system of the Geekom Megamini G1, it is said to make the system deliver 250W of performance. The setup consists of a high-lift pump, a 6888 mm-square copper heat sink, and industrial-grade fans. With an L-shaped integrated radiator, Tecno was able to keep things small.
As a matter of fact, Tecno claims that the Megamini G1 is the smallest water-cooled gaming mini PC in the world. Numbers-wise, the chassis measures 255x150x150 mm and is less than 6 liters. The chassis also has a decent number of connectivity ports, including:
For wireless connectivity, the Megamini G1 has WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2. Other highlights of this gaming mini PC include a real-time screen on the chassis, an all-metal design, RGB lights, up to 64 GB of DDR5 RAM , and up to 4 TB of PCIe 4.0 storage (1 TB Samsung 990 Pro curr. $117.39 on Amazon).
