OnePlus Open Collector\'s Edition unleashed on European market with Apex pricing and Bang & Olufsen tie-in

The OnePlus x Bang & Olufsen Collaboration A1 portable wireless speaker has been introduced to the European market - albeit as not much more than a free gift that comes with the Open Apex Edition.

The only version of the brand's inaugural 16GB RAM foldable flagship with double the standard storage and a new Crimson Shadow colorway (although its twin the OPPO Find N3 had that same red vegan leather finish from its launch) has been released at a full price of no less than €1,999 (~$2,232).

Then again, that price falls to €1,799 with the brand's introductory coupon, as well as a "saving" on the price of the A1, valued at €299.

However, a buyer can select a €329 OnePlus Watch 2 in black or a pair of the new €199 Buds Pro 3 in Lunar Radiance as the free gift instead while stocks last.

As for the A1 itself, it seems to be a version of the Beosound A1 (that costs$299on Amazon) in silver. OnePlus has no further detail on the new "Collaboration" to offer at the time of writing, suggesting that it is intended as a stunt for its latest pre-order event and is not to become a product in its own right.
