BenQ unveils MA series of 4K monitors with MacBook-centric features

BenQ has just announced the MA270U and MA320U, a pair of 4K monitors targeted at MacBook users. They're designed to be paired with the company's Display Pilot 2software, which simplifies screen settings adjustments without having to fiddle with the OSD, and even allows for brightness and volume to be synced with the connected MacBook.

The MA270U comes with a 27-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 3,840 × 2,160 and a maximum refresh rate of 60 Hz. It can reach a maximum brightness of 400 nits, has a 1,200:1 contrast ratio, and covers 95% of the P3 color gamut.

Meanwhile, the MA320U features a larger 32-inch IPS panel with the same 4K resolution and 60 Hz refresh rate, but has a higher 600 nits peak HDR brightness, 1,300:1 contrast ratio, and 97% P3 color gamut coverage.

Connectivity includes a Thunderbolt 3 port (DP Alt Mode, 90 W Power Delivery), two HDMI 2.0, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, as well as a USB hub with two USB-A ports and a USB-C. Additionally, the monitors come with built-in stereo speakers, while the stands support height adjustment, swivel, tilt, and pivot.

The MA series of monitors is listed on BenQ's website as “coming soon”, with pricing set at $459.99 for the MA270U and $599.99 for the larger MA320U.
