According to foreign media reports, Meta’s chief technology officer has all but confirmed that the company has given up on developing a device comparable to Apple’s Vision Pro.

Ahead of the launch of the Vision Pro, Meta unveiled its four-year development plan for its virtual reality and mixed reality headsets. A big part of that was developing a product, internally codenamed La Jolla, that could have been a major competitor to the Vision Pro.
