Black Myth: Wukong might come to Xbox soon, Microsoft issues statement

Soon after Black Myth: Wukong was released on August 19th, the game managed to break several records on Steam. The most-played single-player game with an impressive 10/10 rating on Steam, is currently available to download and play on Windows PC and PS5.

This left fans wondering when they would be able to play Black Myth: Wukong on Xbox. While Microsoft does not have a definite answer to that question just yet, the company did mention that an Xbox version is in the works.

In a recent statement given to Forbes, it appears that Black Myth: Wukong will make its way to the Xbox Series X and S - and hopefully, we’ll get to see it soon. “We’re excited for the launch of Black Myth Wukong on Xbox Series X|S and are working with Game Science to bring the game to our platforms,” Microsoft said in a statement to Forbes.

The article also mentions that Game Science, the developer of Black Myth: Wukong, issued a similar statement back in June. Fans also pointed out that the Xbox logo was missing from the game’s marketing material.

So far, there has been no news of the developer signing any exclusivity deals with Sony. So Black Myth; Wukong for Xbox will happen sooner or later.

As mentioned, currently, Black Myth: Wukong is available for Windows PC and PlayStation 5 (curr. $549 on Amazon). The game has also been added to GeForce Now, which is Nvidia’s cloud gaming platform.
