A Vietnamese retailer has lifted the lid on one of Xiaomi's next Redmi smartphones. While the focus has been on the Redmi Note 14 series in recent weeks, the Redmi 14C 5G appears set for release first as a direct successor to the Redmi 13C 5G (curr. $209.99 on Amazon). Please note that Xiaomi has not officially confirmed this yet.
Instead, Thế Giới Di Động has been spotted posting multiple Redmi 14C 5G listings on its website. In the process, the retailer has outlined various hardware specifications, as well as a release date. It is worth noting that it remains to be seen whether this date will apply globally, though.
Regardless, Thế Giới Di Động alleges that the Redmi 14C 5G will be available on August 31. Additionally, the retailer claims that Xiaomi will offer the handset with multiple memory configurations culminating in 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Moreover, one photo suggests that the Redmi 14C 5G will combine a 6.88-inch display with a 5,160 mAh battery that supports 18 W wired charging. On top of that, Xiaomi has included two rear-facing cameras, one of which is a 50 MP sensor. Unfortunately, other details remain unknown for now.
