Passing objects to methods is a common and correct practice in object-oriented programming.
Example: Block Class:
The Block class is created to store the dimensions of a three-dimensional block.
The class has three instance variables: a, b, c (the dimensions of the block) and volume (the volume of the block).
Block Class Constructor:
The Block(int i, int j, int k) constructor initializes the block dimensions and calculates the volume (volume = a * b * c).
sameBlock() method:
This method compares the Block object passed as a parameter with the calling object.
Returns true if the dimensions (a, b, c) of the two blocks are the same, indicating that the blocks are identical.
sameVolume() method:
Compares the volume of the Block object passed as a parameter with the volume of the calling object.
Returns true if the volumes of the two blocks are equal, regardless of dimensions.
PassOb Class:
Creates three Block objects: ob1, ob2, and ob3, with different dimensions and volumes.
Uses the sameBlock() and sameVolume() methods to compare block dimensions and volumes.
Program output:
The sameBlock() method returns true for ob1 and ob2 (same dimensions) and false for ob1 and ob3 (different dimensions).
The sameVolume() method returns true for ob1 and ob3 (same volume).
