Plenty of information about the Redmi Note 14 series has surfaced within the last few weeks, albeit not from Xiaomi directly. Instead, various regulatory bodies have disclosed information about new Redmi Note models, including much faster charging for the entry-level Redmi Note 14.
To that end, a recent 3C listing suggests that the higher-end Redmi Note 14 Pro will land with support for 90 W wired charging, a 34% improvement on the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G (curr. $285 on Amazon). Additionally, Xiaomi is said to have equipped the device with a triple camera setup, which mirrors an alleged recent design leak.
However, the Redmi Note 14 Pro may arrive with different cameras in China than in other markets. Specifically, while the former is said to receive a macro camera, Xiaomi will bestow a telephoto camera on the latter. Moreover,XiaomiTimehas reiterated earlier suggestions that Xiaomi will equip the Redmi Note 14 Pro with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, a 4 nm chipset that Qualcomm announced earlier this week.
Ultimately, the presence of the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 inside theRedmi Note 13 Pro 5Gmeans that the inclusion of a direct successor underpinning the Redmi Note 14 Pro should come as little surprise. Nonetheless, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 should bring upgrades like 20% CPU and 40% GPU performance uplifts, as well as a 12% lower power consumption; please see our Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 launch article for further details about Qualcomm's new mid-range chipset.
