Gamescom 2024 | Latest Asus ROG Strix QD-OLED monitor debuts with anti-glare 360Hz 1440p panel

Asus has chosen to name one of its latest monitors the XG27ACDNG in full cognizance of the existence of the very similarly-termedXG27AQDMG; however, there are potentially crucial differences between the 2 OLED displays.

For a start, the $699 (as per current Amazon pricing) XG27AQDMG launched with a glossy panel, whereas the XG27AQDNG has not. Furthermore, the latter is 360Hz as opposed to 240Hz in the former, even though both are1440pand have the same gray-to-gray (GtG) latency of0.03 milliseconds (ms).

Both monitors have 26.5-inch panels (as their names suggest) and benefit from Asus' "exclusive" OLED Anti-Flicker technology as well as the OEM's anti-burn-in OLED Care+ battery of settings.

Then again, theXG27ACDNG isQD-OLED as opposed to WOLED in theXG27AQDMG, which means the older model might have the more even brightness distribution of the 2.

The XG27ACDNG can also charge other devices such as smartphones at up to 90W via its USB-C port, and covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut.

It has the same 'gamer-style' stand as its close sibling, but lacks pricing information at the time of writing.
