The Forerunner 955 (curr. $448 on Amazon) continues to receive new updates at a steady pace, having been offered Beta Versions v20.15 and v20.21 in the last few weeks. Now, Garmin has issued v20.23, which continues with a recent trend of being exclusive to the company's Beta Program.
Also, Garmin is rolling out the update 'phased rollout', as is often the case with new beta builds. For reference, the associated forum post states that Beta Version 20.23 should have now reached about 50% of Forerunner 955 smartwatches enrolled on the Garmin Beta Program. If that is not the case, then you manually download Beta Version 20.23 by navigating through the following on-device menus:
Main menu > Settings > System > Software Update > Check For Updates
According to Garmin, Beta Version 20.23 ships with nearly two dozen bug fixes, new features and improvements. However, the changelog contains many lines that existed in Beta Version 20.21, as well as a few that Garmin has re-worded between beta builds.
