Crypto Twitter is abuzz after Robert F. Kennedy Jr. appeared to take a dig at Cardano during his interview with Charles Hoskinson.

All was going well until RFK signed off by saying, “I love the Bitcoin community, and I’m going to light it on fire when I get in there [The Whitehouse],” before the room fell silent.

After a brief pause, Kennedy quickly corrected himself and said, “I love the crypto community. I’m going to light it on fire. I’m going to get the Federal Reserve to buy 4 million Bitcoin and put them in a cold storage wallet.”
Hoskinson appeared to laugh off the initial comment and quickly thanked Kennedy for his support.
The interview drew considerable criticism ahead of its broadcast with many complaining that RFK shouldn’t be talking to a “scammer.”
Others, however, praised his interaction with the Cardano community, with some calling “bitcoin maxis” in the comment section sad.
Not only did the Cardano community have to endure the Bitcoin promotion — accidental or not — but Cardano has now also fallen out of the top 10 cryptocurrencies by market cap.
