One-Netbook has now shared more details about the ONEXPLAYER OneXGPU 2, shortly after initially unveiling its forthcoming eGPU. For reference, the OneXGPU 2 will succeed the ONEXGPU (curr. $699.99 on Amazon), one of several AMD Radeon RX 7600M XT-powered eGPUs that are already available. Incidentally, AYANEO will soon dip its toes into the eGPU market with the AG01, which it detailed in May.
To recap, the OneXGPU 2 utilises the newer Radeon RX 7800M, which AMD has not officially announced yet. Nonetheless, One-Netbook has confirmed that AMD has based the Radeon RX 7800M on an RDNA 3-derived GPU with 60 Compute Units (CUs) at its disposal. Additionally, AMD has allocated the graphics card 12 GB of GDDR6 VRAM, 50% more VRAM than the Radeon RX 7600M XT.
While, One-Netbook has not outlined performance details yet or launch pricing, it has revealed that the OneXGPU 2 will land on Indiegogo in mid-September. Moreover, the company has confirmed that its new eGPU will contain various ports, including OCuLink and USB 4. Specifically, the OneXGPU 2 features the following I/O, as well as an M.2 2280 SSD slot:
