In his announcement on X today, Buterin revealed his completion of the charity request. Moreover, he donated other coins gifted to him throughout the past year, collectively known as "animal coins."

Buterin expressed his preference for these tokens to be directly donated to charitable organizations and highlighted the need for more complex public funding mechanisms.

Recently, Buterin's wallet transferred 3,000 ETH, valued at approximately $8.05 million, to a multi-signature wallet, sparking speculation about a potential donation. However, all signatories of the receiving wallet are linked to Buterin, suggesting an internal fund reallocation.
