The Philips Hue Datura ceiling light is available in Europe. The model was unveiled in June alongside the recently launched Tento round ceiling light. The smart light comes in two sizes, regular (57.4 cm) and small (38.4 cm), and is designed for living spaces.
The Datura has two light sources, which you can control separately, for white and colored lighting. At the front is a powerful circular light panel, and the light at the rear diffuses light across the ceiling; each light source is expected to last up to 25,000 hours. The small size delivers up to 3,300 lumens brightness, while the standard size has a higher maximum brightness of 4,850 lumens. You can remotely control the light via the Philips Hue app, choosing from various colors and brightness levels.
The Philips Hue Datura small ceiling light and Datura ceiling light is available in EU countries like the Netherlands and France for €299.99 and €399.99, respectively. It is also available at Amazon in countries including Germany. On the Philips Hue website in the UK, they are listed for £259.99 and £349.99 but are currently out of stock. The Datura smart lights are expected to arrive in North America in September.
