Dogecoin millionaire Glauber Contessoto, popularly known as SlumDOGE Millionaire, has reiterated his support for Cardano (ADA) following the announcement of the upcoming Chang hard fork.

In response to a tweet from Cardano co-founder Charles Hoskinson announcing the hard fork, Contessoto wrote on X, “I still believe in ADA.”

Cardano recently announced that its upcoming hard fork will introduce new features, including the capability for holders to actively decide on the operation of the network.

According to reports, the first part of the hard fork will see Intersect, a member-based organization for the Cardano ecosystem, unveil an interim version of the Cardano constitution. The second part will focus on the transition to a full-fledged decentralized government with the introduction of delegated representatives.

This development comes as Contessoto has consistently shown support for ADA over the years. In August 2023, he listed ADA among his top five cryptocurrencies, along with Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL) and Dogecoin (DOGE).

notably, Contessoto declared bullish for ADA in 2020, and weeks after that, the asset rallied to an all-time high before losing about 87% of its value. However, he claimed to have purchased a cumulative amount of 100,000 ADA tokens in 2023.

While a section of the crypto community remains optimistic about ADA’s potential, others have criticized the asset, labeling it as “completely useless.”
