Anker has launched its new Prime Charger (250W, 6 Ports, GaNPrime). The accessory's six ports include four USB-C and two USB-A. The USB-C1 port delivers up to 140W power, which Anker suggests could charge a MacBook Pro 16 to 50% in 25 minutes or 100% in 91 minutes. The other two USB-C offer a maximum 100W output, and the USB-A delivers up to 22.5W.

A 2.26-inch LCD on the front of the accessory shows various stats relating to charging status and speed, or it can display the time and date. Plus, a control dial on the side allows you to customize the charging speeds by switching between four modes. These include AI Power for intelligent adjustments based on detected power requirements and Low Current for overnight charging. On top of this, Port Priority mode ensures USB-C1 has a 100W output, while Dual-Laptop provides two 70W USB-C outputs. Plus, further controls and charging information are available through the Anker app.

The Anker Prime Charger (250W, 6 Ports, GaNPrime) has an RRP of $169.99/£169.99/€159.99. However, an introductory discount offers $30/£25 or 15% off, lowering the price to $139.99/£144.99/€135.99; it is unclear how long these deals will last. It is worth noting that, due to high demand, US orders will now ship between August 25th and 31st, while UK and EU customers must wait to receive the device after September 11th and 18th, respectively.
