According to news on August 9, market research agency Omdia released a report yesterday (August 8), predicting that by 2031, shipments of LTPO (low temperature polycrystalline oxide) OLED screens for smartphones will increase to 5.2 Billion pieces.

Citing the agency’s estimates, smartphone OLED screen shipments will exceed 800 million units in 2024, a year-on-year increase of 28.8%, and are expected to exceed 1 billion units by 2031. The compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of LTPS OLED shipments is expected to be approximately -1.0%, while the CAGR of LTPO OLED shipments is expected to be approximately 8.0%.
