2024 Q2 Domestic Smartphone Market Report: Huawei has the fastest growth, followed by Xiaomi

According to news on August 6, Techinsights recently released a domestic smartphone survey report for the second quarter of 2024, in which Huawei became the fastest growing brand in the country, followed closely by Xiaomi.

1. In the second quarter of 2024, China’s smartphone market shipped 67.4 million units, a year-on-year increase of 5%.

2. Huawei ranked third with shipments of 10.4 million units, with a market share of 15.4%, a year-on-year increase of 56.8%, showing strong growth momentum.
3. Xiaomi followed, with shipments of 10 million units and a market share of 14.8%, a year-on-year increase of 16.3%.
4. In contrast, the market performance of OPPO and Honor has declined.
5. OPPO shipped 11.2 million units, with a market share of 16.6%, down 8.2% year-on-year. Honor shipped 10.3 million units, with a market share of 15.3%, down 4.6% year-on-year.
6. However, in terms of sales, vivo has always occupied a place in the market with its excellent photography phones, becoming the domestic mobile phone sales champion with a shipment of 13.1 million units.
