According to one TikTok user, having a series of rare £2 coins in your pocket could be worth way more than their face value.
TikTok user @CoinCollectingWizard has claimed that you can "get rich from UK change". The content creator posts a series of videos of how to identify rare coins, which could be worth a pretty penny.
In a recent clip, the coin connoisseur said "Look out for these £2 coins". He then goes on to describe three coins which could be worth way more than their face value.
The first coin was launched to mark 100 years since the First World War. However, the error version is missing the words £2 from the head side.
"The 2014 coin was launched nine years ago to mark 100 years since the start of the First World War. They add: "Only the version with the missing wording is worth this kind of money around £1,000+."
The TikTok user then goes on to describe another coin which has a "rare runny fried egg" appearance.
"A design error on some of these £2 coins has left them looking like a runny fried egg as the middle has split out onto the outer rim".
The final rare coin @CoinCollectingWizard told his followers to look our for is from 2014, and has the wrong inscription.
This coin could reportedly sell for £30, if not slightly more.
