DJI Neo-related leaks are arriving thick and fast. While it was assumed until recently that the company would release the Air 3S or Mavic 4 as its next new drone, that now seems unlikely. Instead, the appearance of Neo retail packaging implies that DJI's HoverAIR X1 rival (curr. $349 on Amazon) could be next in line instead.
To recap, barely any time has passed since the DJI Neo Fly More Combo was spotted on Walmart priced at $329. Now, Jasper Ellens has shared a few images of the same package, which we have embedded below. As expected, the DJI Neo has four propellers sat within guards, albeit with more protection than those found on the Avata 2.
Additionally, the drone will weigh 10 g more than theHoverAIR X1at 135 g. Moreover, DJI's effort will be capable of shooting in 4K, which it will complement with video stabilisation of some sort. On top of that, the Neo will support features like palm takeoff and landing, as well as QuickShots and 'AI Subject Tracking'. Although a release date is unknown for now, we would not be surprised if DJI introduced the drone in August.
