DJI Neo Fly More Combo pricing revealed to drastically undercut even the cheapest HoverAIR X1 drone

It seems that DJI is closer to releasing a HoverAIR X1 (curr. $349 on Amazon) rival than previous leaks implied. To recap, the drone recently appeared on the Federal Communications Commission's (FCC) public database. While the FCC rarely reveals many details about an unreleased device, its initial document disclosure implied that the DJI Neo was in an advanced stage of development.

Nonetheless, there was nothing to suggest that DJI intended to release the Neo anytime soon. Instead, initial FCC document publications often surface months before an official launch occurs. US retailer Walmart suggests otherwise, though. Likely listed too early, the Walmart listing not only confirms the DJI Neo's impending release but also pricing of what could be one of its most popular SKUs.

As the screenshot below shows, Walmart has received word to price the DJI Neo Fly More Combo at $329, thereby undercutting HoverAIR by a significant margin. Specifically, while the HoverAIR X1 has dropped from its $429 launch price to $349, this price only covers the drone without many accessories. By contrast, the company's Combo and Combo Plus packages, which are more comparable to DJI's Fly More Combo, still cost $399 and $439, respectively. Unfortunately, a full DJI Neo release date remains unknown for now, as does pricing for other markets.
