Samsung's One UI 7.0 beta is now scheduled to land sometime in the third week of August after yesterday's delayed launch, as per information received by SamMobile. It was delayed due to the ongoing One UI 6.1.1 rollout that bought some interesting new features to eligible Galaxy phones.
Interestingly, Ice Universe predicted this well before One UI 6.1.1 was unveiled alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. Plus, those who actually used the One UI 7.0 beta said it was unstable and needed more time in the oven before launch. Beta software is inherently unstable and Samsung is right to delay One UI 7.0, otherwise it runs the risk of bricking devices like it did in the past.
Samsung Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra users will be the first in queue who can out One UI 7.0. Older devices like the Galaxy S23 series should follow suit soon. It will roll out in South Korea first, followed by other regions. Check your Samsung Members app to check if your device/region is eligible. If the beta drops in August, we can expect the final version to debut sometime in mid-to-late October.
