Lumiterra Rewards Community With $RON Ahead of Closed Beta Test

Developers of online open-world survival crafting game Lumiterra are rewarding its community with $RON by opening a claiming page that allows players to collect free Lumi Fragments every single day for a chance at winning token prizes.

How to Claim

Head on over to the official mint page linked in this tweet to connect your Ronin wallet. Once connected, you can mint one fragment a day by paying a small gas fee or by using up free gas vouchers if you still have those left. With the transaction successfully completed, the page will point you to follow the game’s official Twitter/X account and encourage you to leave your Ronin address in their latest tweet so that you have a chance of getting a fragment airdrop. Claim limit resets every day based on UTC+0.

By collecting as many of these fragments as you can during the upcoming closed beta test, you stand a chance of being a part of “something epic” according to the announcement. The claiming page teases a random number of $RON tokens for getting 10 Lumi Fragments. Aside from this potential token airdrop, players will be able to trade these fragments on the Mavis Marketplace and eventually use them to craft various items.

Lumiterra migrated to Ronin last month to bring better Web3 gameplay by leveraging the network’s low fees and reaching a wider audience, and it looks like they're now celebrating the move with this mint to earn campaign. It was also announced back then that a closed beta test was planned to take place this month. Since then, it seems we still don’t have any official start date, but with more than half way into the month we can probably expect to see some news soon (if it’s not delayed).

Next to this event, the studio is also hosting a series of whitelist raffles for the closed beta test in the game’s official Discord server. If you want to have a chance of getting into what is the game’s first beta on Ronin, you’ll probably want to try your luck with these whitelist giveaways if you want to playtest the Web3 title early.

What Is Lumiterra?

Lumiterra is an upcoming free to play Web3 MMORPG with survival and crafting mechanics. Players can embark on solo or group adventures across a cute dynamic world that features day & night cycles and random events while engaging in action-packed fantasy combat using varied weapons and abilities. You can also unlock a variety of passive and active abilities that help not only in battles but also in farming and gathering resources.

Aside from taking down challenging bosses and enjoying PvE dungeons, players can also work together on their own farms, capturing tamable and trainable monsters that you can take care of while they help you tend to your farm. You can also plant a variety of different crops in accordance with the game’s seasonal weather changes as you make use of your farming skills while tiling and fertilizing your way to a thriving diverse farmland.

The game's constantly changing world consists of colorful 3D and 2D visuals viewed from a perspective similar to the one found in indie hit Don’t Starve. This open world is divided into Peaceful, Danger and Chaos Zones. There’s no PvP in the first type, but as you venture out into the other two zones which encompass most of the world, get ready to engage in PvP real-time combat that you have to activate using a PvP switch in Danger Zones, while Chaos Zones simply let you attack freely with no safety switch. Despite this difference though, you can still attack anyone in Danger Zones regardless of whether they have the switch flipped on or off. If you die in these areas, items from your backpack have a chance of dropping, while items in storage are completely safe.

Previously playable by downloading a Windows, Mac or Android version on indie-focused platform itch.io (plus iOS on the App Store), you’ll now have to wait for the Ronin edition to go live to hop in and enjoy questing your way through this MMO while earning various NFTs and token rewards in the process. All items in the game will be tradable NFTs.
