North Pi was unveiled at the 2024 Taipei International Computer Show, continuing the solid wood strip front panel design of the fractal technology North series chassis.

The North Pi development board chassis is 105×50×96 (mm) in three dimensions, supports 88×54 (mm) development boards, and can install two 4010 specification front panel fans.

Fractal technology indicates that the compatibility of North Pi with Raspberry Pi 5 and Radxa Rock 4C Plus development boards has been verified.
