Lock Horns With The Best in The GOAT VI; Festival Kicks Off July 15

The GOAT VI runs from July 15 to August 4 with guarantees of GC 965,000,000 and SC 2,230,000 across the 21 days of exciting poker action.

The GOAT VI is the first event in the new Global Poker Season 2024-25, along with the Eagle Cup VIII, Grizzly Games VIII and Rattlesnake Open VIII. This unprecedented series will tie together these four Global Poker Championships, with two players from each Championship — the Leaderboard winner and the Player of the Series — qualifying for an end-of-series Finals online and in Las Vegas. This new season sets the stage for a dramatic showdown, culminating in a battle to crown the ultimate Global Poker Champion.

How to Qualify for the Global Poker Champinoships

To qualify for the Global Poker Season, you need to compete in one of the Global Poker Championships. Climb your way up the leaderboard to secure place in the Finals.

Each series will crown one GC and one SC Leaderboard Winner to go through the Final.

In addition, the player who wins the most Gold Coin or Sweeps Coin trophies in any individual GPC during the season will be crowned the Player of Series. Each individual GPC will select one GC and one SC Player of the Series to go through to the GPC Season Final 2024-25.

Players will have one last chance to qualify on the final Sunday of the Rattlesnake After Party 2025, with the top 10 players from each GPC Leaderboard competing for the last spots in the Season Final. One winner from each Leaderboard (GC and SC) will advance to the final showdown.

There will be 9 final players selected in total for each Gold Coin and Sweeps Coin GPC Season Final ‘24–’25. If there are repeat or duplicate winners (e.g. if the same player wins Player of the Series and the Leaderboard) the runner-up of the Leaderboard will go through to the Final.

If the Player of the Series and Leaderboard Winner has already won an entry to the Final from a previous GPC, the runner-up on the current GPC Leaderboard will go through to the Final.
