Bitcoin ETFs hit record inflows once again, highlighting their continued relevance in the investment landscape. Despite market volatility, these ETFs have seen a steady flow of funds, indicating strong demand for crypto exposure among investors.

As crypto markets experience ups and downs, Bitcoin ETFs continue to attract attention. After a recent downturn in crypto markets, sparked by the collapse of major stablecoin TerraUSD, investors seem to be returning to riskier assets.

On July 12, Bitcoin ETFs saw a total net inflow of $310 million, the highest in over five weeks. This marks a significant shift from outflows recorded earlier this year. According to data from Farside Traders, BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust and Constancy Clever Origin Bitcoin Fund led the pack, each adding over $100 million. Other ETFs like Bitwise Bitcoin ETF and Grayscale Bitcoin Trust also saw inflows, while the ProShares Bitcoin Short ETF saw a rare outflow.

This renewed interest in Bitcoin ETFs could be attributed to the broader market trend, with the S&P 500 index rising for a fifth straight day. However, some ETFs, including those managed by Hashdex, Franklin Templeton, Valkyrie, and WisdomTree, did not record any fresh inflows, indicating competition in the market.

Overall, these inflows drove the total market value of ETFs up by $15.8 billion in a single week. Among the notable performers were the VanEck Bitcoin Trust ETF and the Invesco Galaxy Bitcoin ETF, both of which saw inflows of $6 million and $4 million, respectively.

This bullish sentiment comes amid the SEC’s approval of spot Bitcoin ETFs in the United States, paving the way for new financial products based on cryptos. Moreover, the recent market downturn may have enticed investors to re-enter the market at lower price levels.
