The upgraded Philips Hue Runner spotlight has arrived in Europe. The new smart light is available as a single, double or triple spotlight, and an extension spot can enhance your set-up. Plus, customers can choose between white and black versions of the product to suit their room.
The new Runner spotlight products feature the latest Philips Hue GU10 bulb, which brings several advantages. A single bulb has a maximum brightness level of 400 lumens at a color temperature of 4,000K, improving on the 350-lumen maximum of the older bulb. This means the double spotlight can reach 800 lumens, and the triple spotlight peaks at 1,200 lumens. On top of this, the bulbs have a longer life expectancy of 25,000 hours rather than 15,000 hours. The difference between the base and extension single spotlight is that the base model comes with a dimmer switch.
The Philips Hue Runner single spotlight retails for €89.99, and the Runner Spotlight extension costs £59.99/€69.99. The Philips Hue Runner double spotlight is priced at £134.99/€159.99, and the Philips Hue Runner triple spotlight sells for £189.99/€219.99. The new products are currently listed as out of stock in the UK, and low stock volumes are noted in EU countries like France. The devices have also yet to arrive on Amazon, where you can buy the older extension model for €69.99.
