BIG W customers are being asked to dig deep and purchase a $2 Heart Token to help raise funds for children’s hospitals and research institutes around the country.

The national fundraising campaign will run across the retailer’s 178 stores during its Big Whopping Toy Sale until 12 July, with 100% of donations contributing to vital lifesaving and life changing programs.

For every $2 token purchased, BIG W will be matching donations up to $100,000.

Customers can visit any BIG W store to purchase one of 17 Heart Token donation cards for $2 at the checkout. Proceeds from the tokens in each state will contribute to the vital work of the following organisations:

“BIG W has been proud to be a long-term partner with a network of children’s hospitals and research institutes across the nation, supporting important programs that bring joy and assistance to children and families,” BIG W Managing Director Dan Hake.
