Philips Hue announces new improved Adore Bathroom recessed spot light

Philips Hue has launched an upgraded version of the Adore Bathroom recessed spot light in Europe. The refreshed model uses the brand’s latest GU10 bulb, which is also available to purchase as a stand alone bulb, which brings a couple of improvements to the smart light.

The new Adore Bathroom recessed spot light offers dimmable warm to cool white light and has a higher brightness level of 400 lumens at 4000K or 350 lumens at 2700K. For comparison, its predecessor peaked at 350 lumens brightness. The smart light also has a longer life expectancy of 25,000 rather than 15,000 hours. The device produces a 40° beam angle with a 7 cm (~2.8 cm) cut out. As with other products from the brand, you can remotely control the color temperature, brightness and other settings via the Philips Hue app, thanks to Bluetooth.

The spot light has a silver finish and an energy class E efficiency rating. A Class 2 light that is double insulated, the device is IP44 dust- and water-resistant. In Europe, the new Philips Hue Adore Bathroom recessed spot light is available as a single or triple pack, retailing for £44.99/€54.99 and £154.99/€179.99. It is worth noting that the products are currently marked as out of stock in the UK, with limited stock available in EU countries like France.
