I'd imagine there's a few of our fellow military and law enforcement veterans out there who are now in the same boat I am in. It was a nonstop 20 years following the 9/11 terror attacks.

A fellow military veteran is looking for someone in Montana to build a display for his military coins. He's also open to other creative ideas for displaying his memorabilia.

After sharing his questions on social media, he received several recommendations for Eric Visocan with Burnt Image in Fort Benton. Visocan's displays are known for their high quality and craftsmanship.

Another suggestion was a website created by Chris in Helena, which features a variety of military-themed products.

One unique idea that was shared was to create a wooden box for a swagger stick that includes a QR code. When scanned, the code would link to the veteran's military and division history. This could be a great way to add additional context and information to a challenge coin display.

If you have any other ideas for displaying military coins or memorabilia, you can email aaron (at) montanatalks.com
