Polymarket, a crypto prediction market platform, has indicated that it may overrule the decision of UMA, a decentralized oracle service, regarding the involvement of Barron Trump in the DJT meme coin.

Nearly all of the UMA token holders voted that Barron was not likely involved in the meme coin, prompting Polymarket to介入 and announce a fix for the issue on Wednesday.

The controversy began when UMA resolved a market that asked whether it was more likely than not that Barron was involved in the meme coin. The oracle service decided several times that the answer was "no," and holders of "yes" shares protested.

On Wednesday, Polymarket said it believed UMA got it wrong.

“We believe that the UMA resolution for the Barron Trump / $DJT market was incorrect and will soon be announcing a fix for this,” the platform announced.

The DJT token is down 7% on-day, according to on-chain data.
