New Optoma ZK810T 4K UHD fixed lens laser projectors arrive

Optoma has revealed two new 4K UHD fixed lens laser projectors, the ZK810T and the ZK810TST. The models, known collectively as the ZK810T series, were revealed at InfoComm 2024 and are designed for business use.

The ZK810T series projectors are said to offer a true 4K resolution with a 3,000,000:1 contrast ratio and support for HDR and HLG. The ZK810T has a 1.26-2 throw ratio and offers 1.15x zoom. Meanwhile, as its name suggests, the ZK810TST is a short throw model with a 0.65-0.75 throw ratio and 1.6x zoom. Both models can throw images up to 300 inches (~760 cm) wide and use a DuraCore laser light source. This is expected to last for 30,000 hours and delivers up to 8,500 lumens brightness. Optoma claims that the ZK810TST is the only 4K UHD fixed lens short throw projector with over 7,500 lumens brightness.

The ZK810T projectors have two built-in 10W speakers and an audio out port. This sits alongside other ports on the models like HDMI, USB-A, HDBaseT, LAN and RS-232. Other features include a Game mode, a new infrared sensor, four-corner correction, motorized lens shift and 360-degree and portrait modes. The Optoma ZK810T and ZK810TST True 4K UHD fixed lens laser projectors are priced at $10,999 and $13,499, respectively.
