The London 2012 Olympics was a monumental multi-sport event that had the globe fixated on our great capital from July 27 until August 12.
True fans were joyously swamped with collectables galore to mark the occasion, and among them were 29 uniquely embellished 50p coins.
Now, a TikTok user has drawn attention to these rare coins in a new video, and some of them could fetch you a small fortune.

The @CoinCollectingWizard asked his 149,000 fans: "Have you ever wondered what your Olympic 50p is worth?" before listing all the coins and revealing what each is worth.
He then listed all the coins and what each is worth. Among them are the Aquatics, Athletics, Basketball, Boxing, Canoeing, Cycling, Football, Gymnastics, Handball, Hockey, Judo and Marathon coins.
Also included in the video are the coins for Modern Pentathlon, Rowing, Sailing, Shooting, Swimming, Table Tennis, Tennis, Triathlon, Volleyball, Weightlifting and Wrestling.
Since the video was posted a few days ago, it garnered hundreds of likes and shares.
One curious viewer enquired: "I have so many £2 and 50p coins, how do I value it?"
Another chimed in with: "How much is my fake £2 with rotation?"
While some of the coins may not fetch a fortune individually, owning the complete collection could be worth around £86.
It comes as the same TikTok user revealed the rare London Olympics 2012 coin worth more than its face value.
He discussed the Table Tennis 50 coin, which he said had the lowest mintage out of all the Olympic 50ps.
The user claimed almost 1.2million coins dated 2011 were struck to enter circulation.
He said: "The coin features two people playing table tennis or ping pong if you prefer.
"If you are lucky enough to come across this table tennis 50p, then you are looking at around £2 in circulated condition and around £5 in brand new condition."
