According to an announcement on Monday, the partnership will also see the establishment of a blockchain and digital asset research centre at Taipei University. The initiative aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the rapidly evolving digital finance landscape.

The collaboration will see the development of a comprehensive curriculum covering blockchain fundamentals and digital assets. The announcement noted that specialised courses will be offered on digital asset management, trading, and regulatory frameworks.

Taipei University will integrate the new blockchain and digital asset courses into its College of Management. Students will gain an overall understanding of cryptocurrencies and digital assets like Bitcoin (BTC) and stablecoins.
