Specifically, as of the end of May, the total number of fixed Internet broadband access users of the three basic telecommunications companies reached 652 million, a net increase of 15.34 million from the end of the previous year.

Among them, there are 617 million fixed Internet broadband access users with access rates of 100Mbps and above, accounting for 94.6% of the total number of users.

The number of fixed Internet broadband access users with access speeds of 1000Mbps and above reached 183 million, a net increase of 19.96 million from the end of the previous year, accounting for 28.1% of the total number of users, and an increase of 2.4 percentage points from the end of the previous year.

In addition, as of the end of May, the total number of 5G base stations reached 3.837 million, a net increase of 460,000 from the end of the previous year, accounting for 32.4% of the total number of mobile base stations, an increase of 0.7 percentage points from January to April.
