The Redmi 13C 5G (curr. $219.90 on Amazon) has not been out that long, having been announced at the tail end of last year. Regardless, Gizmochina has discovered evidence that Xiaomi is preparing a successor called the Redmi 14C 5G. Please note that these are only early findings. As such, there is no suggestion that the Redmi 14C 5G will be with us anytime soon.
So far, Gizmochina has found four Redmi 14C 5G examples on IMEI databases, screenshots of which we have embedded below. If accurate, then it seems Xiaomi intends to offer the Redmi 14C 5G in several regional variants, including one for China, another for Russia and a third for India. On top of that, there will be a dedicated global model that will likely be sold across Europe and the US, among other markets.
Typically, Xiaomi refreshes its Redmi C series every December. However, the appearance of these IMEI results has led the likes of Gizmochina and GSMArena to suggest that the Redmi 14C 5G is 'definitely coming soon'. The device's root build number suggests otherwise though, which is often an indicator of when Xiaomi hopes to release a device. In this case, it would appear that Xiaomi wants to introduce the Redmi 14C 5G in some form by November 2024, although there is no guarantee that this will apply to all markets. Still, November 2024 would be only eleven months after the debut of the currentRedmi 13C 5G.
