Now would be a great time to get the Lenovo Legion Go because the gaming handheld has dropped to its record-low price. You can score it for just $579.98 on Amazon, which is a steep $120.01 discount from the regular $699.99.

We were pretty impressed with what Lenovo did with the design of the Legion Go. Unlike ROG Ally or Steam Deck, you can detach the controllers of this gaming handheld, much like what the Nintendo Switch offers. While this detachable design makes it heavier than the others, it's a fair trade-off, given the flexibility and the unique FPS mode that it brings.

Speaking of which, the build quality of the controllers is nice, and we found them comfortable to hold. The handheld PC is also well built, with nothing appearing loose when we reviewed it. Now, even though the weight of the handheld is a bit high, it comes with a built-in kickstand, allowing you to set the device on top of a flat surface while you play with the detached controllers.

As for the performance, Ryzen Z1 Extreme with AMD Radeon 780M stood strong in our tests. At the maximum 30W TDP, the Lenovo Legion Go achieved an overall CPU performance rating of 74.9 points, which is basically on par with the 79.1 points that the Asus ROG Ally scored with the same processor.

When it comes to gaming performance, the Lenovo Legion Go got an overall rating of 92.8 points from us. This puts the handheld PC a little ahead of the Z1 Extreme-equipped Asus ROG Ally, which got 91.3 points in our review.

Another big highlight of the Legion Go is the display. It's an 8.8-inch panel with up to 1600p resolution and 144 Hz refresh rate. The screen can get reasonably bright, but the reflective glass on top of the display can make it hard to get a comfortable viewing experience in outdoor conditions.
