The pieces are falling into place for the release of a Moto G84 (curr. $229.99 on Amazon) successor. To recap, initial details about the Moto G85 surfaced late last month courtesy of a website called Tool Junction. Subsequently @MysteryLupin, a reliable leaker who posts on X (formerly Twitter), shared more Moto G85 product images, one of which we have embedded above.
Now, YTECHB has shared evidence of Moto G85 launch pricing. Until recently, it was assumed that Motorola had priced the Moto G85 at approximately €300. However, YTECHB's disclosure suggests that the device will start at €349 with 256 GB of storage, which the website insists will be complemented by 12 GB of RAM. Additionally, Motorola is alleged to have settled on Grey, Olivin and Surf colour names, with the latter two relating to green and blue hues.
For reference, @MysteryLupin also claimed at the end of last month that Motorola had equipped the Moto G85 with a 1080p and 120 Hz pOLED display, as well as a Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset. Although the latter was unreleased at the time, Qualcomm has now announced the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 as an overclocked Snapdragon 695 5G. While a global release date has not surfaced yet, the Moto G85's Chinese counterpart is set to debut on June 25, which is the same day as the global arrival of the Razr 50 and Razr 50 Ultra.
