There's no telling when Samsung plans to launch the Galaxy S24 FE, but if a recent Geekbench listing is anything to go by, it could happen on July 10 at Galaxy Unpacked. Now, we get out first look at the affordable flagship thanks to OnLeaks and Giznext. As expected, its design is nothing to write home about, although the leak does confirm at least one key upgrade.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE was rumoured to launch with a 6.7-inch screen- much larger than any Galaxy FE smartphone. This is confirmed by its dimensions (162 mm x 77.3 mm x 8 mm), which translates to a 6.65-inch diagonal length. Otherwise, it uses a bog-standard design found on most Samsung phones, complete with three vertically-aligned cameras, a hole-punch selfie camera and co-planar power button/volume rockers.

Specs-wise, we already know the Galaxy S24 FE will come with an underclocked Exynos 2400 variant. While rumours about a Snapdragon version exist, there is no evidence to support the claim. A memory upgrade to 12 GB RAM also seems unlikely, as it would run the risk of undercutting the vanilla Galaxy S24 (curr. $599 on Amazon) which tops out at 8 GB of LPDDR5X RAM. If priced at the ~$500 mark, the Galaxy S24 FE could shape up to be an attractive upper-mid-ranger, at least in markets where OEMs like Oppo, Vivo, Xiaomi and Honor don't operate.
