The performance of the anti-resonant hollow core optical fiber is verified in the real environment under the influence of various conditions such as pulling, extrusion, water vapor, outdoor splicing, etc.

On the 20km link, we have achieved a number of core technical indicators such as the air-core fiber fusion splicing loss as low as 0.05dB, the air-core connection as low as 0.3dB, and the optical cable loss after laying as low as 0.6dB per kilometer. , all reaching the international first-class level.

Using a single-wavelength 800Gbps wide-spectrum optical transmission system, the 20km single-core fiber bidirectional 128Tb/s ultra-large capacity transmission test based on hollow-core fiber was further realized.

Proving that anti-resonant hollow-core optical fiber is feasible to deploy in complex pipe network environments is an important milestone for the hollow-core optical fiber and transmission system industry from technology prototype to industrialization.

It is reported that hollow-core optical fiber is based on a new air light guide mechanism instead of traditional glass light guide. It can break through the two physical bottlenecks of solid-core optical fiber's capacity limit and delay limit, and improve its performance in backbone and data center transmission.
