According to digital blogger "Digital Chat Station", the self-developed ultra-large core frequency of Snapdragon 8 Gen4 has reached 4.2GHz, which will bring very strong performance.

A manufacturer's laboratory prototype has run scores, and GeekBench6 has reached a single-core level of 3,000 and a multi-core level of 10,000, refreshing the limits of mobile phone SoCs.

For reference, the current strongest Apple A17 Pro only has a single core of 2999 and a multi-core of 7903, while Qualcomm’s latest flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen3 has a single core of 2213 and a multi-core of 7466.

It is worth mentioning that Snapdragon 8 Gen4 will use TSMC’s 3nm process for the first time, which also means that the Android camp has entered the 3nm era.

It is reported that Snapdragon 8 Gen4 will use Qualcomm’s self-developed Nuvia Phoenix architecture, which has stronger performance than the Arm public version architecture. With TSMC’s 3nm process, the performance is expected to be significantly improved, bringing better energy efficiency.
