At Apple’s WWDC24 developer conference early this morning, iOS 18 officially announced the arrival of the “Apple Intelligence” function.
#Users can capture recordings and transcripts simply by tapping ‘Record’ in the Notes or Phone app. Apple Intelligence generates a summary of the recorded information so that users can understand the most important information at a glance.
Telephone call transcription supports English (US, UK, Australia, Canada, India, Ireland, New Zealand, Singapore), Spanish (US, Mexico, Spain), French (France), German (Germany), Japanese (Japan), Mandarin (Mainland China, Taiwan), Cantonese (Mainland China, Hong Kong) and Portuguese (Brazil).
To ensure that users are informed, Apple said that when call recording is turned on, participants will automatically receive notifications.
However, Apple smartphones have hardware limitations. For iPhone, only iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max can currently be used. In addition, iPad and Mac devices equipped with Apple's M series also support access to Apple Smart.
Official website information shows that Apple Smart will launch a beta version in the fall.
