2. Click and expand the [Surface] overflow menu from the [Model] tab, select [Reshape], open the Reshape tab, click and expand [ Curve] drop-down menu and select [On Facet].
3. Then move the cursor above the cone shape of the point cloud data and start selecting multi-faceted points continuously to form a closed curve, as shown in the figure below.
4. Use the same method to create another closed curve below the cone, as shown in the figure.
5. Click [Create Domain] and then move the cursor between the two curves created above to select a polyhedral point. The software will automatically create the point between the two curves. into a point domain, as shown in the figure.
6. Click and expand the [Analysis Surface] drop-down menu and select [Cone] to open the Cone dialog box, click and select the [Domain] option, and then select the just created area.

8. Click [OK] to close the dialog box to complete the fitting, obtain the cone-shaped surface, hide the point cloud, and you can see the fitted cone as shown in the figure.
