Geometric Sketchpad is a powerful geometric drawing software. How to use it to draw three-star shapes has always been a problem that troubles many people. PHP editor Youzi has compiled a set of simple and easy-to-understand graphic tutorials in detail. It will start by introducing the basic concepts of three-star shapes and guide you step by step through the drawing process. Come and take a look and master the drawing skills of three-star shapes!
Step 1 Draw an equilateral triangle. Open the geometric sketchpad, click the [Custom Tools] button on the left sidebar, select [Triangle] - [Equilateral Triangle] from the pop-up shortcut options, and then click on the sketchpad to draw an inverted triangle.
Step 2 Construct three equal circles that intersect in pairs. Select the vertex and base of the triangle, construct two perpendicular lines, and mark the intersection of the perpendicular lines. Select the [Circle Tool], draw a circle with the three vertices of the triangle as the center, and draw a circle with the distance from the vertices to the vertical intersection as the radius, so that the three circles pass through the common intersection point.
Step 3 Use the [Move Arrow Tool] to select three circles and click on the intersection points respectively to get their mutual intersection points L, M, and N.
Draw arcs LM, MN, and LN. Select the point L, the intersection point of the vertical line, and M in sequence, and execute the [Construct]-[Arc passing three points] command to construct the arc LM. The other two arcs are constructed in the same way.
Hide circles and extra points. Select all the circles, points and vertical lines, click the [Show] menu above, and select [Hide Selected Objects] from its drop-down option, so that the three-star image is created, as shown in the figure.
