1. Open the CAD software and draw a circle A and a triangle B, as shown in the figure below.
2. Click the top menu bar - [View] - [Viewport] - [Three Viewports] to create three viewports, as shown in the figure below.
3. When [Input Options] appears on the command bar, press Enter directly. At this time, three viewports will appear on the interface, as shown in the figure below.
4. Click the left mouse button on viewport 1, move circle A to the middle of the viewport, and enlarge the display state of circle A; follow the same steps for viewport 2 and move the triangle B moves to the middle of the viewport and enlarges its display; as above, move the two graphics in viewport 3 to the middle of the viewport and zoom to the appropriate size, as shown in the figure below.
5. Click the left mouse button on viewport 1 and draw an inscribed triangle of circle A. At this time, you can see that an inscribed triangle is also drawn on circle A in viewport 3. In the same way, an inscribed circle of triangle B is drawn in viewport 2, and an inscribed circle is also drawn inside triangle B in viewport 3. From this we can find that when the graphics being operated are relatively complex, you can use the viewport function to enlarge the partial drawing and perform operations and modifications, and the graphics in other viewports will also be updated, as shown in the figure below.
6. In CAD software, we can also operate across viewports. Take drawing the center connecting line of circle A and triangle B as an example. Click the left mouse button on viewport 1, select the straight line command, select the center of circle A, then click the left mouse button on viewport 2, and select the center point of triangle B. At this time, the center points of the two figures are found in viewport 3. Already connected with straight lines as shown in the picture below.
