Based on the logo on the rear, this new car may be named "Seal X".

The exterior design of the new car is eye-catching. It is quite similar to the OCEAN-M concept car displayed at this year’s Beijing Auto Show. BYD hailed it as “the industry’s first hatchback rear-wheel drive pure electric car” car". From the appearance, it adopts the Ocean Net family-style front face design, equipped with eye-catching split headlights and stylish through-type taillights. The side of the body uses concealed door handles, and the overall design is full of sense.

According to the declaration information, the dimensions of this new car have been announced. Its length, width and height are 4630/1880/1490 mm respectively, and the wheelbase reaches 2820 mm. In order to meet the needs of different consumers, the new car will provide 18-inch and 19-inch rims in two specifications, and can be optionally equipped with chrome side skirt strips, front radar and different styles of rims. The rear part of the car will provide three different wordmarks: Seal, 06 GT, Seal MINI, Seal 05 EV, but the final launch name has yet to be confirmed.

In terms of power, BYD’s new car will provide two power layouts: single motor rear drive and dual motor four-wheel drive. For single-motor models, it will provide two different power drive motors, with maximum powers of 160 kW and 165 kW respectively. The dual-motor model is equipped with a front AC asynchronous motor and a rear permanent magnet synchronous motor, with maximum powers of 110 kW and 200 kW respectively, showing its strong power performance.
