有没有人知道mysql这数据库最大可以建多少张表格?
我公司现在要建支持二级域名日语的博客
我上网查了一下,只找到wordpress mu这套系统能符合要求,而且我还是用wordpress中的日语语言包,勉强可以用
但是,现在有个问题就是公司要建几十万的博客,而这套系统的数据库设计是每创建一个博客就会新创建8张表
也就是说,我想建几十万博客的话,那就要创建出几百万张表,
我觉得这个实在有点行不通,所以想问一下这里的牛人,mysql这样的数据库有没有最大上限的表格数啊?

我想这应该受到文件系统最大文件数限制。一个MyISAM表是3个文件,所以你这个"几百万"还得乘个3。

数据库应该不会坏掉,应该是创建失败。以前我google过linux下可以创建的最大文件数,根目录下可创建的有限(人云亦云的说),子目录下是受到inode的数量限制(这点应该是确定的,但我也没进一步查),现在我一个目录下的文件数到10万了,网站速度没看出影响,但ll一下目录的时间可以喝点茶了。其实想像一下,目录本身也是一个数据库。
