A simple waterfall flow effect (self-written main body form)_jquery
I have nothing to do, so I wrote a waterfall flow by myself. My personal habit of writing scripts or web pages is: I only refer to other people's results and rarely refer to other people's codes. Sometimes I would rather use review elements to infer the code than to Look at the source code. I don't know if this is a good habit. Although the intermediate process took me a lot of time, I can still remember every detail of what I made (of course I will definitely forget it later), because I realized it. Let’s get to the point:
The main body of the waterfall flow is several ul tags. The newly added elements are selectively inserted into a certain ul in the form of li according to the height of the current ul.
The main body form is as follows:
-
div>
anytext..
anytext..
...
- anytext..> ;
-
anytext..li>
....
....
Copy codeThe code is as follows: .pics { float:left; list-style:none ;margin-left:10px;margin-right:10px;/ /The height of the document body in the current window of the browser alert($(document.body).outerHeight(true));
width:230px; %;
margin: 0 auto;
margin-bottom: 10px;
position: relative; > padding-top:10px;
}
.pic {
width:92%; margin:0 auto;
padding-top:10px; > font-size:180px;
background-color:#0CF;
}
.pic img {
width:100%;
margin: 0 auto; >.content {
width:92%;
margin:0 auto;
padding-top:10px;
height:50px; space:nowrap;
overflow:hidden;
}
The script is implemented as follows:
Copy Code
The code is as follows:
$(function(){
//alert($(window).height()); The current window of the browser can View area height
//alert($(document).height());
//Height of the browser’s current window document alert($(document.body).height());
//The total height of the document body in the current window of the browser includes border padding margin alert($(window).width ()); //The width of the visible area of the current window of the browser alert($(document).width()); //The width of the document object of the current window of the browser alert($(document.body). width());
//The height of the document body in the current window of the browser alert($(document.body).outerWidth(true));//The total width of the document body in the current window of the browser includes border padding margin $(document).scroll(function(){ var pics=$(".pics"); var sc=$(document).scrollTop(); $(" #float").text(sc); for(var i=0;ivar bottom =pic. offset().top pic.height();var pic=pics.eq(i); if((sc $(window).height())>=bottom){
eval( "var word=" '"\u' (Math .round(Math.random() * 20901) 19968).toString(16) '"');
var li="" word " div>> }
}
});
});
This basically implements the simplest waterfall flow, but the script does not consider memory consumption, that is, the issue of infinite loading. I don't understand it now, I'll improve it later.
Let’s see the effect:

JavaScript's applications in the real world include server-side programming, mobile application development and Internet of Things control: 1. Server-side programming is realized through Node.js, suitable for high concurrent request processing. 2. Mobile application development is carried out through ReactNative and supports cross-platform deployment. 3. Used for IoT device control through Johnny-Five library, suitable for hardware interaction.

JavaScript is the core language of modern web development and is widely used for its diversity and flexibility. 1) Front-end development: build dynamic web pages and single-page applications through DOM operations and modern frameworks (such as React, Vue.js, Angular). 2) Server-side development: Node.js uses a non-blocking I/O model to handle high concurrency and real-time applications. 3) Mobile and desktop application development: cross-platform development is realized through ReactNative and Electron to improve development efficiency.

The latest trends in JavaScript include the rise of TypeScript, the popularity of modern frameworks and libraries, and the application of WebAssembly. Future prospects cover more powerful type systems, the development of server-side JavaScript, the expansion of artificial intelligence and machine learning, and the potential of IoT and edge computing.

JavaScript is the cornerstone of modern web development, and its main functions include event-driven programming, dynamic content generation and asynchronous programming. 1) Event-driven programming allows web pages to change dynamically according to user operations. 2) Dynamic content generation allows page content to be adjusted according to conditions. 3) Asynchronous programming ensures that the user interface is not blocked. JavaScript is widely used in web interaction, single-page application and server-side development, greatly improving the flexibility of user experience and cross-platform development.

Python is more suitable for data science and machine learning, while JavaScript is more suitable for front-end and full-stack development. 1. Python is known for its concise syntax and rich library ecosystem, and is suitable for data analysis and web development. 2. JavaScript is the core of front-end development. Node.js supports server-side programming and is suitable for full-stack development.

JavaScript does not require installation because it is already built into modern browsers. You just need a text editor and a browser to get started. 1) In the browser environment, run it by embedding the HTML file through tags. 2) In the Node.js environment, after downloading and installing Node.js, run the JavaScript file through the command line.
