我在把系统升级到Ubuntu 8.04后，mysql-query-browser在运行后，点选数据库会出现冻结状态。在网上搜索了方法，需要修改一下源代码中的一个文件。

找到mysql-gui-tools-5.0r12/mysql-query-browser/source/linux/MQQueryDispatcher.cc文件，把第561，562这两行注释掉，再重新编译即可。

今天在部署fristFlow流程定义文件的时候发生一个mysql错误,从log中看，是Tomcat服务器与MySQL服务器之间失去连接。在网上查了一下原因,在hibernate.cfg.xml文件中加了一个数据库连接池配置代码,就可以了,不过现在还不知道为什么.

为hibernate配置连接池，，推荐用c3p0，然后配置c3p0的反空闲设置idle_test_period，只要小于MySQL的wait timeout即可。

mysql打开bin-log后mysql-bin.00000x文件过大的处理

启用二进制日志后,如果时间一升,就会出现日志过大的情况就是出玩很多mysql-bin.00000x这类的日志文件

可以登录MYSQL:

mysql> reset master

可以清理这些文件

但要注意,如果做了日志传送等相关日志操作的同步功能时,则要等日志同步后才能进行这步操作,否则就会造成master和slever数据库不一至的情况
